Privacy Policy

Account and profile information: Name, email address, username, handle, profile photo, bio, resident city, privacy settings, notification preferences, subscription status, and other information you choose to add to your profile.

Vehicle and garage information: Vehicle make, model, year, trim, modifications, photos, primary-car selection, and optional image-analysis inputs used to suggest vehicle details.

Social and community content: Routes, route statistics, route privacy settings, posts, comments, replies, likes, mentions, moments, event activity, club memberships, club posts, join requests, follower/following relationships, reports, and other content or actions you create in Velox.

Location data: GPS coordinates and related movement data when you record a route, follow a route, use maps/navigation, share your location in Convoy, set a waypoint, or use location-based features.

Communication and device data: Push notification tokens and notification history, microphone access for live Convoy push-to-talk, optional music metadata for Convoy music features, device identifiers, app diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, and usage data such as screens or features used.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account, profile, garage, routes, clubs, events, posts, moments, and social relationships
• Record, display, save, rank, and share routes according to your privacy settings
• Operate Convoy features, including live location sharing, waypoints, participant markers, push-to-talk, and music-related controls or metadata
• Send notifications about follows, route activity, moments, clubs, posts, comments, events, Convoy invites, and account activity
• Personalize discovery, feeds, search, recommendations, membership state, and in-app experiences
• Moderate content, prevent abuse, enforce safety rules, protect users, and respond to reports
• Provide support, troubleshoot issues, measure performance, fix crashes, improve reliability, and develop new features

Velox uses location only for features that need it, such as route recording, route following, maps/navigation, location-based discovery, and Convoy.

Route recording stores the GPS path of the drive you choose to record. You control route visibility through privacy settings such as Private, Friends Only, or Public, and you can delete your route history.

Convoy live location sharing is active only when you join or host a Convoy session and choose to share. During sharing, your live location may be visible to other participants in that session and may continue updating in the background so the session works when Velox is not on screen. When you stop sharing, leave, or end the session, Velox stops updating your live Convoy location.

You can control location permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work without location permission.

Photos and media are uploaded only when you choose to add them to your profile, garage, routes, moments, clubs, posts, comments, events, or other Velox content. If you use vehicle image analysis, the selected image may be processed by cloud and AI services to suggest vehicle information.

Microphone access is used for live Convoy push-to-talk. Velox uses the microphone only when you enable or use voice features. Voice may be transmitted through our voice service provider to other participants in your Convoy session.

Music access or media-session metadata may be used to show currently playing music, playback state, title, artist, or album artwork in Convoy music features. On Android, this may require Notification access; on iOS, this may require Apple Music/media permission. Music metadata is used for the Convoy experience and is not required to use most Velox features.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information:

• With other users based on your actions, privacy settings, and the features you use, such as public profiles, public routes, club content, moments, comments, follower activity, Convoy participant locations, and shared session information
• With service providers who help us operate Velox, including hosting, authentication, database, storage, maps, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, content moderation, image analysis, voice, subscription, and customer-support providers
• With payment or subscription platforms when needed to process purchases, manage subscription status, or unlock paid features
• When required by law, legal process, safety needs, policy enforcement, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights and safety of Velox, users, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls for our systems.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update your profile information
• Delete routes, posts, moments, comments, media, vehicles, and other content where the app provides deletion controls
• Change route privacy settings and profile privacy settings
• Stop Convoy location sharing, leave a Convoy, or revoke location, microphone, notification, music, photo, or media permissions in device settings
• Manage notification preferences, club notification preferences, and marketing communications
• Delete your account and associated data through the app settings

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Velox, maintain safety and security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and operate backups.

Content you delete is removed from active user-facing surfaces, but copies may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, moderation records, cached systems, or where retention is required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Live Convoy location is used to operate active or recent sessions. Saved routes remain in your account until you delete them or delete your account, subject to backup and legal-retention limits.

Velox is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
